Really in January!!

I couldn't resist placing my picture where all could see the beauty of this bloom! It has been near sixty degrees and rained hard all night long. I finally ventured a peek outside and what did I see? Yes in all it's glory, and by tomorrow there will be more. Hyacinths, daffodils, tulips and even the hydrangea bush is sprouting. The temperature is falling fast and I'm glad some are hearty enough to with stand these sudden changes. Me I am still trying to figure out what I should do about many of my orchid and other lily bulbs that where to be transplanted last October when I was so ill from whatever poisoned my system. By time I was back on my feet it was so cold and rainy that I didn't venture outside. Enjoy!! Spring may be early since winter was.

Just happy

My flowers are growing like there is no tomorrow and looking so healthy. My first rose is now in bloom and the "Kiss Me Over the Garden Gate" and Orchid Lilies are doing spectacular. the stalks are strong and heigth great. I think I stated before that there were so many plants this year. Someone up there loves me and is watching over and helping my flowers do so well. The weather is cooperating and we are having a few showers and also finally some heavy dew in the morning. One lady asked about my flowers and I just said, I talk to them and tell them they are going to be the prettiest flowers around. They respond by showing off their beauty for me. See,!!! what other tales can I tell today? Oh yes , the reason there is not a photo of my beauties is because I discovered the batteries are dead in my camera. I promise I will replace the batteries as soon as I can. I haven't seen any sign of my calla lily yet, remember "Can You See Me" from last year. I hope the moles that invaded this winter didn't get it. I would really rather not get hostile but might do so if I don't see the calla lily soon.

Yellow Calla Lily

I just discovered today that http://www.picture.com has items for sale featuring my yellow calla lily. If you go to their web-site you can put my name in their search box and it will show you the different items that will be for sale. I decided today to order a couple mouse pads for gifts. Sooooo if you are one of the people that love calla lilies you might want to check it out. They also have my Weird Brown-eyed Susan listed too. I guess I didn't say, I will be featured in the book best of photos and photographers for 2007. I am very pleased about the recognition.
I believe you start the search with Outlaw and then you get a list then you see Me, Sylvia Outlaw, listed twice, the 1st is from last year, the 2nd is the calla lily. Since Christmas isn't too far off, you might wish to do some early shopping.
It finally rained here for a short period, but at this point anything is welcome.
I have been a little tied up lately, doing so research for WWAO and also enjoying the new friends on Eons.com. You know 50+ Boom Boom Boom.......They have an art gallery plus all types of groups to be in and speak you mind or at least try, and as they say it does help the ol' grey cells....
