As promised

I have named my new painting
"Place of Serenity"

Here is my unnamed painting of the arched bridge.I have a storm brewing in the back ground due to the WWAO challenge for March.
I need to get this off my chest now so here goes. A friend stopped by just after I had place the clouds in the sky and started criticizing my thermal vortex forming and coming out of the top of the storm coming. I explained what it was and she flat told me she didn't like that. So being stubborn, bullheaded person that I am I left it in. She is confident that clouds don't look like another batch is forming behind. But I guess since I've been through 14 tornadoes I do know what a sky looks like.
I hope all who check this out won't be to harsh on me and my clouds. Have a Serene day and relax by my Ol' stone arched bridge.
The painting is 16x20 acrylic. Storm and all!!!

Awesome painting and agree with your perspective. I like the storm.

As a Missouri boy that has seen a few storms your friend is wrong.

I live near a stone bridge that is a crossroad for spring storms.

Your painting is a memory to me.
Before I read your text I thought how much your painting looked like a storm gathering near the stone bridge near Lone Jack Missouri.

Great painting!

Sylvia, I like your painting and I disagree with her! Chances are she's never really LOOKED at the sky! It's so easy to criticize. Does she do any art?

I've seen many skies where the clouds were in dramatic ridges, one behind the other!

I hope all is well with you, dear Sylvia.

Hi Sylvia, I love this painting, the first thing that crossed my mind when I saw it was that it looked like such a peaceful place! Then I saw the title, so you did good getting that feeling across! BTW, the brewing storm sure looks right to me too :-)
