Saying Good bye

My tears fall freely from my eyes,
For now I must truly say "Goodbye".
Cousin Jan sleeps safely in God's arms,
She will feel no pain, nor be in harm.
Rest in peace my sweet cousin

Still number one!!

I was so happy to see my poem is number one on Helium!!
So I hope all who read it before will enjoy it again!!

To hear your voice so clear and sweet
I long to be near and feel your heart beat.
Our time is so short when the phone rings
Yet I know joy and love your message brings.

My heart beats faster with each loving word
My heart sprouts wings like a silver hawk bird.
Yes, tonight I will sleep with dreams in my head
I will sleep happy and secure alone in my bed.

Just knowing you care and our love strong
Makes my life pleasing and nothing is wrong.
One day our dreams will surely come true
Together we will fly through skies deep blue.

We both have had heavy burdens to bare
This makes our love strong and truly we care.
Our thoughts and our hearts really beat as one
Soon our hopes and dreams will be again fun.
